All private mobile phone services have been barred without any reason or explanation,” Published 449 weeks ago on September 24, 2016 By KashmirNewsObserver Residents of several villages of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday said that their cellphone services were suspended by the authorities last night. “Only BSNL phones are working. All private mobile phone services have been barred without any reason or explanation,” said a Sopore resident. Greater Kashmir received several calls from various villages of the district complaining that their mobile phone services have been barred. “The phone services were snapped at 10 pm last night,” said Nousheen Malik, a resident of Sopore. Our correspondent in Baramulla said the service was apparently suspended due to fear of large scale protests over the killing of a youth in Nadihal last night. The youth, Waseem Ahmad Lone, was laid to rest today.
